Now and days, there really isnt many businesses where you get service from and deal directly with the owners. KC pharmacy is an independently owned pharmacy run by its owners, with only one location open right now in on continued growth and plans on opening another location in the future. KC Pharmacy is a member of Epic Pharmacies, a group of over 600 pharmacies in As a group, Epic Pharmacies sign contracts with most insurance companies, so when the patient's drug plan lists Epic Pharmacies, the patient is covered here at KC pharmacy. The KC pharmacy computer system helps maintain prescription records so we know what we have filled, how many refills you have left, old prescriptions, patient names and addresses, etc. Our computer system also performs automatic checks for harmful drug-drug interactions, protecting our patients since June 2006. This service has been updated many times and provides easy-to-read drug information for the patient every time a new prescription is filled. The computer system also allows our pharmacy to have a direct connection to insurance companies so the patient knows immediately if the drug is covered by insurance. KC has there own website: www.kcpharmacy.net. On our website we offer prescription refill and drug order information 24 hours a day. The site also contains information on services offered by the pharmacy, and pictures of the store and additional products we offer. Here at KC pharmacy we have a variety of hard-to-find over-the-counter
drug items. Unlike the super stores, KC will special order and stock items for
the customer, available usually in 24 hours. Our pharmacy also stocks
Sunmark store brand items. These are items very similar to the brand name
ones we carry but at equal to and much less than familiar advertised brands.
This is very convenient as you may realize that sometimes you really are paying
for the brand name! KC Pharmacy offers not only prescription medications and over the counter
medications, but a variety of additional supplies. Here you can find Jobst and
Activa brand knee highs and stockings, they are therapeutic medical leg wear
that provides therapeutic support for aching legs and helps with varicose veins.
We are also a vendor of the ever popular Apex, now called Aetrex, and Relano
brand shoes. These are properly fitted therapeutic shoes and are very popular
with diabetic customers even though they are so comfortable customers buy
them just to have an extremely comfortable pair of shoes!
